BKS Industri AS, a subsidiary of Eqva ASA (OSE: EQVA) confirms the award of several contracts with a total value of NOK 43 million for deliveries to leading companies in Norway’s process industry.
The contract wins confirm BKS and Eqva’s position as preferred partner for delivery of industrial services, especially for energy efficient and environmental impact projects. All contracts will be booked as order intake in Eqva’s Products, Services and Renewables segment in the fourth quarter 2022, supporting the expected volume uptick in Q4 2022 and well into 2023.
“We see growing demand for our expertise in projects that are aiming to modernise and decarbonise energy intensive processes, thereby minimising the environmental impact. We are proud to be working with some of the most ambitious and innovative customers in this sector,” says Erik Høyvik, Chief Executive Officer of Eqva.
The largest of the new contracts has a scope worth NOK 30 million. The delivery is to a project which has qualified for significant government grants aimed at improving the environmental characteristics of the industrial process.
The other contracts, which have a combined value of NOK 13 million, include delivery of technical equipment and systems, and support to annual maintenance programmes in 2023 at other plants.
BKS is involved in projects for a wide range of industries, including aquaculture, hydropower and landbased industries such as smelters. Projects are typically complex and diversified, involving a wide range of engineering, electrical and piping disciplines, as well as assembly and commissioning work at customer sites.
Recent milestone deliveries from BKS include delivery of a test facility for a new innovative hydrogen project and fuel cells and a complex pipe system for a biotech production plant.
